With Aislin being so interested in art, there really was no better place to host her party than an art studio. We went about a month before for her to look through hundreds of pictures to choose the perfect one for her guests to paint. She was able to customize it to her liking, but the guests had the option of painting with different colors. We invited all the girls from her class, Olivia and my friend, Jackie's two girls. We had a quite a full house. The girls seemed to have a great time. Being the extravert that Aislin is, she did get a little crazy at times, and boy did the dynamic of the group change when Blaine showed up. It was tournament weekend for baseball, so he and Brent showed up towards the middle of the party. Once Blaine arrived several "boy crazy" girls, went boy crazy. Ugh. That aside, I think they all had fun. Aislin even decided to give a speech to all her guests. Prior to the party she asked if the studio had a microphone. I told her they did not. That did not stop her from asking the studio owner again if they had a mic, and then ultimately continuing on with a speech sans amplification.

And just because I feel like it is so rare to get her in a cute outfit, one final after-party picture before we headed out to dinner:
