This year Phillip came up and spent a week with us. I still had to work two days after the kids were out so Brent stayed home. He and Phillip got to take care of the kids :) Both Blaine and Aislin love the "i" technology that Uncle Phillip brings, itouch, ipod, ipad...Several nights I had to pull them away from the ipad for dinner. We celebrated Phillip's birthday with Tres, Tina and Olivia with cookie cake and hamburgers.
Aislin and I picked out his cards. She stood in Kroger, in the humorous cards section, reading every single one. The one we decided on was definitely a winner! It is displayed in the background of the below pictures:
We all had a nice night and a great week. Phillip was able to go see the first swim meet. I will save the details for another post, but it was nice that he could come see Aislin swim. We finished the week off by Nana, Papa, and Beth and family coming up for the weekend. We had Aislin's recital then a low country boil, and several golf rounds for the guys:
Hopefully we can get Phillip back up here for a visit with Jennifer and Tim soon... On our project list is finishing the basement guest room and painting the upstairs guest room. It was so nice to be able to host a crowd for the weekend. The more visitors we have, the more it forces us to get things done. More pictures from the weekend are coming soon...
