Blaine is now losing some molars (gross!). He had one wrapped in toilet paper and was coming to show it me to when he dropped it. He commented after it dropped, "Daddy told me to flush it down the toliet and he'd give me my money later. Since the Tooth Fairy is fake." What?!
This week Aislin was invited to her very first sleep over. I was a nervous wreck. It was with a child from her class last year. The family is super nice, but not a family that we "hang out" with. I was really hoping that at 10:30 Aislin would change her mind and we'd be called to pick her up. But no, she has such a desire to be big and be with friends that she stayed all night. They took the girls to see the Lorax and to eat Mexican. Aislin was allowed to have as much sugar as she wanted, eat as much as she wanted and stay up late...resulting in her vomiting at Lexi's house at 3am! That child, she didn't wake up Lexi, just walked to her parents' room and told them. Didn't cry or want to go home, just took a bath the next morning and was fine. We'll see if she is ever invited back.. :)
Blaine loved having Brent and me to himself that weekend. He didn't sleep at Ben's or invite Ben over, he was relishing the time as an only child and actually pleaded his case as to why all of our lives would be better if he were an only child. I think he truly thought that might be an option! We went shopping and bought him new sporty clothes and golf clothes then finished the night with hibachi at Kani House.
This week we also celebrated Brent's actual birthday on February 29th! I took the day off and we got in a round of golf (9 holes). It was my first time playing in a year due to my back. It felt great! The weather was beautiful. We enjoyed golf, lunch and then picked up steaks to grill and cookie cake. It was a perfect day :)
Finally, track practice started Saturday of this week. It was very cold, and only Blaine participated, but he said he liked it...
