Ugh! This is SO typical with an intense 5 year old child and her brother. Aislin insists on being FIRST for everything. Blaine is as patient as you could possibly expect a 7 year old to be. This was us on an ordinary day just dropping off some books at the library.
First Aislin didn't want to get out to drop a book for me, but once Blaine volunteered of course Aislin had to do it too. Not only did she have to do what Blaine did, she had to be first!
